About Michael Lupo...
Michael is a professional video game composer, recording artist, drummer and drum tech. He incorporates his unique rhythmic styling with roots in Big Band, Jazz, Classic Rock, Funk, R & B and Soul into his compositions, playing and recording and takes the listener on a stimulating and motivating journey. Laced with his keen sense of humor and physical finesse, Michael is very adept at keeping the listener entertained and captivated.
Michael is a graduate of Berklee College of Music as a Professional Music Major with concentrations in Video Game Scoring and Performance. He studied video game scoring and audio implementation with Michael Sweet and Duncan Watt. Michael studied drum set with Kenwood Dennard, Marko Djordjevic, Henrique de Almeida, Rod Morgenstein, Casey Scheuerell and Steve Wilkes.
During Michael’s career as a drum tech at Berklee he worked with Lucas Moisson teching for world-class musicians like Steve Jordan, Bashiri Johnson, Omar Hakim, Nate Smith and many more.
